Arena: Make 100 Claudes Fight Until One Answer Is Left
A free Claude skill for the answer you didn't like: 100 Claudes take the same task, attack each other's answers, and a judge knocks the losers out. How to install it, when to use the quick mode, a prompt, and the catch
Arena is a free, open-source Claude Code skill (MIT). When Claude gives you an answer you don't like, you type /arena instead of asking again. It hands your exact task to 100 Claudes, each with a different way of thinking, makes them attack each other's answers in a knockout bracket, and gives you back the one that survived.
Here's how the bracket works, how to install it, when to use the quick mode, and the catch.
How the bracket works
- Spawn: 100 sub-agents get the same task, word for word, plus one strategy card each: a reasoning mode, a workflow and a strategy. 2,160 possible cards, no two the same.
- Attack: the answers are paired. Each side attacks the other's answer, up to 7 attacks labelled FATAL, MAJOR or MINOR.
- Defend: each side answers every attack, then rewrites its own answer to fix what it conceded.
- Judge: a separate judge Claude checks the attacks and scores both answers: correctness 30, completeness 25, robustness 20, specificity 15, clarity 10. An answer with a proven fatal flaw can't win. The loser is out.
- Repeat: 100, 50, 25, 13, 7, 4, 2, 1. You get the winner, the attacks it survived and the rounds it took.
- If you started from an answer you rejected, a last judge compares the winner with it blind, and tells you even when your old answer scores higher.
