An email address and almost nothing else.

There is no account and no password. Nothing above is bought from anybody, and nothing is combined with data from another source.
Cookies
- One cookie. When you hand over an email, a cookie remembers that the guides are unlocked so you are not asked again. It holds no personal data, just a flag.
- No advertising cookies and no third-party pixels, which is why there is no consent banner to click.
- Page analytics are cookieless. Visit counts and which pages were viewed are recorded without storing anything on your device and without anything that identifies you.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data. Not to anyone, for anything.
- We do not share your email with other companies to market to you.
- We do not track you across other websites.
Who else touches it
Neon stores the list. Vercel hosts the site and counts page views. Resend sends email. Each gets only what it needs, and none of them are allowed to use it for their own purposes.
How long it is kept
Your email stays until you ask for it to go, or until the list is retired. If you are a retainer client, your footage and finished videos are kept for twelve months after the last month you paid for, so you can come back for a file, and deleted after that unless you ask us to keep them.
Your rights over it
Ask, and within 30 days you can have a copy of everything held about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Deleting is genuinely deleting, not deactivating. If you are in the UK or the EU these are rights you have under the GDPR, and asking costs nothing.
The fastest route for the newsletter is the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email, which removes you without needing to contact anyone.
Where it lives
On servers in the United States. If you are in the UK or the EU, that is a transfer outside your region, made under the standard contractual clauses our processors operate.
Children
This site is not aimed at under-16s and we do not knowingly collect their data.
