How to install ECC in Claude Code or Codex
Use Everything Claude Code with Claude Code or Codex. This guide gives you the official repository, a clear installation path, and prompts for planning, building, reviewing, and testing one small feature.
ECC is an open-source collection of skills, agents, hooks, and workflow patterns by Affaan Mustafa. It adds reusable instructions and tooling to a coding agent. You still need the coding agent, its model access, and human review of the result.

Start with one installation path
Use an existing project with version control, or make a small disposable project. Commit your current work first. Choose one ECC installation method per coding agent so you do not duplicate hooks or configuration.
The current universal package requires Node.js 18 or newer. Claude plugin setup also requires Git and Claude Code 2.1 or newer on your PATH. The examples below follow the repository documentation checked on September 12, 2026.
