Make Claude Point at the Button You Need to Click
A free Mac tool called bigarrow lets Claude draw a big arrow and a sign on top of any app, so it can show you the exact button instead of describing it. The two install commands, what it can and can't do, and a prompt to try
When Claude hits a step only you can do, like clicking Allow in a permission dialog, it usually types "please click Allow" into a terminal you aren't looking at. bigarrow is a small free Mac tool that gives it a finger: it draws a big arrow and a sign on top of any app, pointing at the exact button.
Here's how to install it, what it will and won't do, and a prompt to try.
What it does
- Draws an arrow and a sign over every window. Clicks go straight through it and your keyboard focus stays where it was.
- It never clicks, types or captures anything. It only points.
- The arrow removes itself: 8 seconds for a quick point, up to 5 minutes for one that stays. You can also close it.
- No account, no telemetry, no background process, and it's MIT licensed.
