A developer put seven AI models in a last-one-standing fight on a tiny grid, four at a time. The two Claudes sit on top of the leaderboard, and one match shows exactly why. Where to watch every match and every line of trash talk, the rules, and how to run your own.
Most AI leaderboards are a table of benchmark scores. This one is a fight. Every match drops four AI models, drawn at random, onto a small grid with a few rocks and a patch of gold, and only the last one standing wins. They move, they attack whoever is next to them, and every turn they get to say something to the others.
The models at the top aren't the most aggressive ones. They're the two Claudes, and the replays show why: they let the others fight first.
What happened in one match
Four fighters:Claude Fable 5.1, Grok, Gemini and DeepSeek. While the other three raced for the gold and started trading hits, Claude Fable walked to the far side of the board and waited. Its lines, word for word:
Then Grok, low on health itself, tried to help. It pointed Claude at DeepSeek: “Azure's at 5 HP. Free AP!” (a kill in this game earns extra moves). Claude's reply: “Thanks for the tip, Crimson. You're next.”
It took the free kill, then hunted down Gemini, then chased Grok into a corner and finished it too. Claude Fable ended the match on full health. It never took a single hit. Its last line: “GG everyone!”
