Instead of 40 tabs you keep open for a week and never read, you wake up to one page: the three worth reading in full, a short to-do list, and one line on everything else. Every link is saved first, then the tabs close.

It is one Claude skill (a folder with a text file Claude reads), an optional list for links from your phone, and one line that runs it at 2 AM. Setup takes about ten minutes.

What it does every night

  1. Collects the open tabs from Chrome, Safari, Brave, Edge or Arc (only browsers that are already open), plus any links you dropped in later.txt from your phone. Working tabs like email, calendar, docs and Slack are skipped.
  2. Reads each page (YouTube: the title and description; PDFs: the first five pages).
  3. Sorts every tab: READ IN FULL (at most 3), TO DO (the tab is a task), DONE (one line is enough) or DROP.
  4. Writes one page with all of it, saves every link with its one line to a links file, then closes the tabs it read.

What you need

  • Claude Code, signed in with your Claude plan (it runs on your own Claude, no extra service or API key).
  • A Mac (open tabs are read with the Mac's own AppleScript; on Windows or Linux, use later.txt only).
  • The first run, macOS asks once to let Terminal control your browser. Click OK.
  • Google Chrome is optional for the PDF: without it the skill uses the Mac's own Safari engine through a small file you save in step 3 (run xcode-select --install once if the swift command is missing).
