Reading your notes again feels like studying but tests you on nothing. This free prompt makes Claude run an exam room instead: one Claude writes hard questions from your notes, one adds look-alike wrong answers, one grades what you type and shows the line you missed, and two more replay every miss. Most people study by reading their notes again. Researchers have tested that against being quizzed, and quizzing wins. This prompt turns Claude into the quizzer.

How it works

  1. You paste your notes (or give Claude Code the file) and say when the test is.
  2. Claude 1, the question writer, turns the notes into hard questions that need an answer from memory, not a pick from a list.
  3. Claude 2, the trickster, writes look-alike wrong answers for the questions that have choices, built from the mistakes people actually make.
  4. Claude 3, the grader, waits for YOUR answer, then marks it and quotes the exact line of your notes you missed.
  5. Claude 4, the replayer, queues every miss and asks it again later in a different form. Claude 5, the examiner, ends with a short mock test of only your weak spots.

Run it in Claude Code (five real sub-agents)

Open Claude Code in the folder with your notes and paste this. Fill in the brackets:

PASTE INTO CLAUDE CODE
Build me an exam room from [notes file or topic]. My test is [date]. Use five sub-agents, each with its own job:
1. QUESTION WRITER: read the notes and write 15 hard questions that need an answer from memory. No multiple choice.
2. TRICKSTER: for each question, write 3 wrong answers that look right, based on common mistakes. Keep them hidden until I answer.
3. GRADER: ask me ONE question at a time and wait. After I answer, mark it right, partly right or wrong, and quote the exact line of my notes I missed.
4. REPLAYER: keep a list of everything I missed and ask it again later, worded differently, until I get it right twice.
5. EXAMINER: at the end, run a 10-question mock test made only from my weak spots and give me a score.
Never show me an answer before I have typed mine. Start now with question 1.
