• search_listingsSearch published AI agents, MCP servers and skills in the directory by name, tagline or description.
• get_listingFetch one published listing by its slug, with full description and links.
• list_categoriesList the category ids a submission can be filed under. Call this before submit_listing. That tool takes category ids, not names.
• trendingListings gaining momentum right now, ranked by heat (the 0-100 engagement score), upvotes or new reviews over a rolling window. Paid listings get no ranking preference here; the `featured` flag says which ones are paid.
• discoverBrowse the directory by vertical, category, pricing and access model. Use this when the ask is a kind of product rather than a name, e.g. 'open-source MCP servers for databases', 'free coding agents'.
• find_alternativesAlternatives and competitors to a product. Takes a listing slug, a website URL, or just the product name, including products that are not in the directory, in which case the closest listings by topic come back instead.
• compareCompare 2-5 listings side by side on pricing, access model, categories, heat, upvotes and rating. Takes slugs. Resolve them with search_listings or find_alternatives first.
• new_launchesThe most recently published listings in the directory.
