The brackets are the whole point
Every prompt has [PLACEHOLDERS]. Replacing them with something specific is what separates a useful answer from a generic one. "Build me a login page" gets you a template; the same prompt with your stack, your users and your constraints gets you something you can ship.
Nothing here is a magic word. What they mostly do is stop Claude from guessing, stop it from charging ahead, and make it show its work.
