The VC Roundtable is a free, MIT-licensed Claude Code skill. You paste in your pitch and seven Claude sub-agents sit down at the table, each judging the way that firm says in public that it judges startups. No signup, no API key, nothing to pip install.

What happens at the table

  1. The pitch: you paste your pitch (one slide or point per paragraph), what you are raising, and the real facts behind it.
  2. The grilling: every firm asks its 2 hardest questions, each tied to your exact words. You answer them all in one message.
  3. The vote: every firm votes fund, fund if, or pass, quoting your pitch and your answers.
  4. The fix: every pass and every fund-if must say exactly what to change. A coach Claude ranks the 3 changes that win the most firms.

Who sits at the table

  • Always: Y Combinator (a small team that ships fast and talks to users), Sequoia (a clear why now and a big market) and a16z (technical founders changing a whole industry).
  • Four more are dealt in each run from Benchmark, Founders Fund, Accel, Lightspeed, Kleiner Perkins, General Catalyst and Index Ventures.
  • Each firm is a Claude playing that firm's public advice to founders. It is not the firm and never says it speaks for it.
